For Shimano Direct Mount 12 speed cranksets: XTR M9100/9120/9125/9130, XT M8100/8120/8130, SLX M7100/7120/7130, Deore M6100/6120/6130, MT900, MT610

• Cranksets M9100/9120, M8100, M7100, M6100, MT900, MT610 use a Boost chainring (3mm offset) and are compatible with 142 mm or 148 mm O.L.D. frames.
• Cranksets M9125, M8120, M7120, M6120 have a longer spindle and use a Boost chainring (3mm offset); compatible with 148 mm O.L.D. frames.
• Cranksets M9130, M8130, M7130, M6130 have an even longer spindle and use a Boost chainring (3mm offset); for use with 157 mm O.L.D. frames.

Chains: Compatible with all 10sp, 11sp, 12sp Shimano Hyperglide+ and 10sp, 11sp, 12sp SRAM chains.

INFORMATION

ALUGEAR chainrings are some of the lightest chainrings on the market. Using our experience and vigorous testing, we tweaked the arm design and strategically machined the chainrings so that only minimal sacrifices were made in impact strength in exchange for large gains in weight reduction.

The chainrings are CNC machined from 7075 T6 aluminum and hard coat industrially anodized to provide protection from mechanical impacts, a good look, and an excellent tactile feel that lasts.

A unique tooth profile eliminates chain noise, reduces wear, and provides smooth operation on all common 10, 11, and 12-speed systems. The Narrow Wide teeth guide the chain reliably. The tooth profile is specially designed for use with MTB chains.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• We recommend the use of a clutch system rear derailleur for the best chain security.
• It is also a good idea to use a new chain with your new ALUGEAR chainring.
