RST Magnetic Tuned Mass Damper

The future of mountain bike vibration damping has arrived. While current mass dampers on the market rely on traditional coil springs to suspend internal counterweights, the upcoming RST Magnetic Tuned Mass Damper completely re-engineers the concept by utilizing high-powered magnets at each end of the damper tube. By eliminating mechanical springs that fatigue and lose their spring rate over time, RST has created a virtually wear-free anti-vibration system designed to enhance control and dramatically reduce arm pump.
